Crowson Motors

Established in 1953 by Mr Raymond Crowson and his father Thomas, Crowsons began at Little London Service Station serving fuel to the people of Spalding. After a need for car sales in the area Ray and Thomas moved to Commercial Road in the town taking on the Simca and Fiat franchises.

By the mid '70's operations were transferred to Winsover Road and by this time Simca and Fiat were discarded for the much more prestigious Triumph/Rover brand. When the two makes hit an all time low, Ray introduced Volkswagen & Audi in 1977 and at the same time sons Paul and Ian joined the family firm. Mark later joined in 1982 with Rays wife Monica busy working hard behind the scenes.

In the mid '90's Crowsons relinquished Audi to solely concentrate on the sales and aftersales of New Volkswagens and quality used cars. Unfortunately Ray Crowson passed away in 2001 aged 68. The business is still growing today and a new 3 bay workshop is now in operation increasing our service bays from 6 - 9 as well as an MOT testing bay.
